An amazing story and something that encourages me to think more out of the box and just execute.
My problem is, I have great ideas, but hardly any time to execute on these.
A great idea is not a great idea if you don't execute on these.

So now I'm spending a lot of time in the evenings working on my projects.
My goal is really to secure a steady second stream of income.

We will see if I succeed.

Thanks for this post - you've inspired me to write another eBook and do a bit more to promote it. I currently have a small eBook I'm givinw away to attract new subscribers, but I have always wanted to write lengthier ones on a variety of subjects and sell them from my blog. Congrats on your success - glad I found you!

Hi Kellye! I wish I had a better answer... but I just felt as if $12 seemed like the right price. I knew that those who needed it may not have a ton of money to spend on an e-book and my goal was to help as many people as possible without selling myself short. If I had to do it over again, I think I'd choose the same price.

However, that's not to say that this is the only way. One 'problem' with this price point is that it's really too low to be enticing to affiliates. Selling through affiliates wasn't my goal with this particular e-book, but something that works well for many people.

According to the people I know who regularly sell affiliate products or who sell products through affiliates, say that the affiliate normally gets about a 40% - 50% cut. For someone who does not have a pre-existing audience, it might be a smart idea to leverage affiliates to help promote the product. In this case, you might want to create a product with a higher price point to be profitable to both.

Thanks for the great question - I hope this answers it!
