Today is the official launch date of this blog. There is still a lot more that I’d like to add to it, but one thing I’ve learned in being in an entrepreneur is that it’s better to take action rather than waiting for every single thing to be perfect. If you wait for that, you’ll be waiting forever.

Another thing I’ve learned in business is that success and progress doesn’t happen in a vacuum. I wouldn’t have been able to launch this blog without the insight of some very important people.

David Williams and Fred Wood

David, Fred and and I work together on several projects including his blog Create Business Growth. We launched this blog about 4 months ago as a way to connect with small business owners and entrepreneurs. I’m a daily contributor to this blog and have met some incredible people and learned a great deal about blogging by writing for this blog.

Jonathan Phillips

Jon is the author of Smart Wealthy Rich and creator of Freelance Folder and an amazing person. It’s no wonder his blogs have been so successful. Jon is a masterful content creator and has an incredible knack of building community on his blogs. I’ve interviewed Jonathan for CBG and can tell you that he is just as energetic and personable in real life as he conveys on his blog. I used many of the plugins on Jon’s list for this blog.

Nate Whitehill

Author of Nate Whitehill dot com, founder of Unique Blog Designs, and co-founder of InfinFX. I interviewed Nate back in June when his blog was just six months old. Already, he was emerging as a top name in the blogosphere. Today, less than a year after the launch of his blog and only several months after launching Unique Blog Designs, Nate’s blog is ranked among the top ten on the Top 100 Money Making Blogs list compiled by Mark of 45n5. He’s also the designer of the current blog themes for ShoeMoney and Jon Chow.

Liz Strauss

Liz is the author of Successful Blog, the creator of the SOB badge and the mastermind behind SOB-Con. Talking with Liz about blogging was a turning point in my blogging. She has incredible knowledge of what it takes to build strong blogs and thriving blogging communities.

Patrick Schraber

Pat is the author of the Lonely Marketer Blog and part of the team of experts at Branding Wire. Pat has incredible knowledge about the role of blogging for traditional business which you can absorb by reading his blog and also through this interview with Pat that I posted in June on CBG.
