I know this is a late posting, but I thought I would begin to network with Christine, and those that read her blog, and why not start here?

My name is Matthew Pritchett. I am 21 years old, engaged to be married, and in my Senior year of college. I am studying Youth Ministry, because I seek to become a church planter (those two don't seem to fit, do they?). I am heading to Peoria, Illinois in January of 2011 with my soon to be bride, and we are starting up a church plant. I have worked for several years in the web/ graphic/ IT industry, and decided to go freelance in November of last year (2009). I started Mr. P Design in January 2010 with no money, no clients, and no marketing skills. I haven't looked back! I am loving the freelance line of work, and lifestyle! I am hoping this year to make enough to not only support myself, but save enough money for moving and startup expenses for the church plant! Christine, your advice has been the start of a revolution in my life and in my business!

Thanks for the great site and for the awesome ebook.
I have just embarked on a journey that will transform my life. My passion for web development and for helping small businesses and independent consultants succeed has now become Brain Noodle, a web development and internet strategies company.

Thank you for the inspiration.

I started African Life Art Imports about to years ago. I actually just posted something like this on my blog entitled What Is Your Line of Work?

To make a long story short a trip to South Africa changed my life. I always wanted to sell original African paintings and that trip made it possible. You can find me at www.africanlifeart.com and nourishyou23.etsy.com

Can't remember now how I found your blog but I've really enjoyed it. And loved 17 Lies, etc. that you recommended. I started consulting part-time 16 years ago when my eldest was born, then full time after a divorce 10 years ago. At one point when I didn't have enough paying work, I started a web site on how to save money on your food budget and it eventually became a nice source of extra income, although I started it just for fun. For those looking to get into making money online, I'd definitely say "do what you love" and figure out how to monetize it after you figure out what you have to share.

Greetings and salutations! I'm *trying* to be an internet entrepreneur, just trying to figure out how to get started. I'm more of an idea's person, and living breathing *think tank* if you will. I'm a genius when it comes to online website and application development but starting a business... not so much. Anyway, there's my $0.02.

I am a writer and life coach. I write for my blog, Gratitude Magic
I used to work as executive admin, and at that time I liked it. I wasn't really planning to be on my own -- it just worked out this way. And I love working on my own and planning for my business. I feel so free and empowered. I love helping people uncover their power within, and reach their goals and beyond.

I love your blog, and will be checking in often.

Christine,
I'm becoming a big fan of your blog as I am trying to get away from the cubicle life to be my own boss. I am an art director for a small 5 person advertising agency and feel like a slave to the system. I see the amount of money being pulled in and the little that comes my way when I do 80% of all the work.
I have also started a clothing line that I am trying to get off the ground and plan on applying some of the techniques you've outlined in your blog.
Keep up the great work, interesting blogs and motivation.

Hello Chick!

Very inspiring and informative reading what you have here. Oh yeah, I'm Adrienne Zurub, an author/speaker/comedian/actor/writer/pOet/RN and yet undiscovered others.

In 2004, I too, took a plunge and degraded my work schedule and hours to write, author a book (coming January 2008!!!) and just live in the moment of this life. It has not been easy, but it also has not been too hard. I tend to spend less on 'things' and refocus my efforts and valuable time and attention. Yes! My time and what I give my attention to IS very VALUABLE! (echoes of Tim Ferriss)

I'm glad I found you today. I had a rough patch over the weekend...I felt overwhelmed. I'm back on course.

My book, 'Notes From the Mothership The Naked Invisibles' is a book I thought of when I was 12. Then, I promised myself I would one day have a book on The New York Times Bestseller List. This is that book!

Whew! I'm writing a dissertation here. I'm just excited, and scared, and excited, and feeling accomplished, and 'knowing' that this book is my most attentive moment.

I guess, I needed to steady myself here with you being the catalyst.

Thanks for being here.
